MedYacht Group acquires REPCO MARINE shipyard in the Gulf of St Tropez

As part of its growth strategy, MedYacht Group is pleased to announce its acquisition of the Repco Marine boatyard.

MedYacht, based in Saint-Tropez, Les Marines de Cogolin, Grimaud and Marseille, specialises in the sale, charter, and maintenance of boats, as well as boatbuilding, with its own range of boats: the MED52 and the MED42.

The new MED42 is currently under development and production and will be presented at the Cannes Boat Show in 2019. Alongside the development of its own range of boats, the MedYacht Group also represents the brands SeaWater, Galeon, Al Dhaen, Brig and Joker Boat.

The acquisition of Repco Marine allows the group to meet the needs of its clientele in terms of maintenance, storage, wintering services, repairs and mechanical work.

Repco Marine, with its established reputation for quality services, represents the most prestigious engine-makers and marine accessory manufacturers thus assuring its customers a first class service.

The storage and wintering facilities of the MedYacht Group now comprise 200 boats under maintenance, and is composed of 6000 m² of covered surface on 10000 m² of land.

MedYacht Services has a fleet of 30 boats for charter, ranging from 8 to 30m, which charter out of the Marines de Cogolin and Saint-Tropez from berths in front of its offices. This allows an immediate boarding for charterers, with car, catering and concierge services on offer.

What's on - Princess Yachts 60'S REVIVAL

In celebration of the 1960s and with 50 years in business Princess Yachts have Restored their first boat Project 31. Princess Yachts are of course one of the UKs leading boat yards manufacturing extremely high end motor yachts. Their humble beginnings belie what was in store for their future.

"I purchased my boat in the UK in 2013, the previous owner had fallen out of love with her, I was desperate to send the boat over to St Tropez to use for the summer, so the boat was transported to France where it arrived with a string of faults. Repco were recommended to me from the guys in Southampton, I made contact with them as soon as I arrived and they have carried out all repairs required for a fair price and their work is spot on. It's reassuring to know they are a professional firm on hand to keep an eye on things when I'm not there.

"As we all know, boats need looking after and I'm very confident that my boat is in very safe hands. I have found Repco to be very fair, professional and very accommodating and I would recommend anyone with a boat in the area to have a chat to them."
